The UKEB has today published its two Annual Reports for the reporting period 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024:
A report to the Secretary of State setting out how the UKEB discharged its delegated functions. The report covers the work undertaken on the adoption of amendments to international accounting standards, for use in the UK, and sets out how the UKEB has influenced the work of the IFRS Foundation and the development of new and existing international accounting standards.
A report to the FRC setting out how the UKEB fulfilled its governance and due process responsibilities.
The UKEB Chair, Pauline Wallace, said:
“It is with a real sense of satisfaction that we are publishing our two 2023/24 annual reports, setting out how we have successfully discharged our delegated functions, with a keen focus on robust governance and due process. Both reports highlight the extent of UKEB’s achievements, as it continues to grow and mature, and the extent to which we are already effectively influencing the development of high-quality international accounting standards.
As always, it is the commitment of the UKEB Board and Secretariat and the valuable engagement we receive from our stakeholders that enables us to deliver so effectively.”
