UKEB AFIAG Advisory Group Appointments

Today the UK Endorsement Board (UKEB) has announced the establishment and membership of its first advisory group.

The Board is pleased to welcome the inaugural members of the Accounting Firms & Institutes Advisory Group (AFIAG) and looks forward to engaging with them in the coming months. Their biographies and the minutes of the first meeting can be found here.

The UKEB is establishing advisory groups that will provide specialist knowledge and information as input into its technical decision-making.

The four standing advisory groups are for: Academics, Accounting Firms & Institutes, Investors and Preparers.

Campaigns to recruit members for the Rate Regulated Activities Technical Advisory Group and the PIR IFRS 9 working group, will commence in August 2022. Please register your interest by emailing Advisorygroups@endorsement-board.uk. We would be particularly keen to hear from preparers, users and accounting professionals with interest and experience in these areas.

The UKEB is keen to ensure that the memberships of the groups represent a diverse range of skills, experience, and backgrounds, and welcomes applications from all interested parties.
