IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts – Grant Thornton webinar with the UKEB

Technical Director of the UKEB Seema Jamil-O'Neill and Board member Giles Mullins presented at Grant Thornton’s IFRS 17 webinar on 27 April 2022, discussing the UKEB’s work on adoption of IFRS 17 Insurance Contracts for use in the UK. The UKEB’s key message was that all outreach and other endorsement assessment work had now been completed and in April the Board had approved the IFRS 17 Endorsement Criteria Assessment. The UKEB will meet on 9 May 2022 to provide an indicative vote on adoption of the standard.
