The UKEB has today published its 2025/28 Regulatory Strategy and Feedback Statement, following stakeholder consultation. At its core, the strategy focuses on the role of high-quality international accounting standards in supporting the needs of UK stakeholders and the wider UK economy.
UKEB Chair, Pauline Wallace, said:
“As the UKEB embarks on its next 3-year strategy, the Board recognises the importance of ensuring that we play our part in supporting UK economic growth and competitiveness. Our focus on the UK long-term public good will continue to factor in the needs of investors and businesses and the importance of comparable and proportionate international accounting standards to support effective and efficient capital allocation.”
For operational reasons, the UKEB’s 2025/26 budget is incorporated within the FRC Plan and Budget.
