The UKEB and the IASB are jointly holding a webinar to introduce the requirements of IFRS 18 Presentation and Disclosure in Financial Statements and understand its potential impact if adopted for use in the UK. This webinar will take place on Monday 29 July 2024.

Nick Anderson
Nick Anderson was appointed as a member of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in 2017 and reappointed to serve a second term in 2022. Nick Anderson was appointed as a member of the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) in 2017 and reappointed to serve a second term in 2022. He has 30 years of practical experience, mainly as a buy-side investor using and supporting the development of high-quality financial reporting. Mr Anderson joined from Janus Henderson Investors in the UK, where he served as global equity portfolio manager and head of equity research. He was responsible for overseeing the sharing of research and best practice across Janus Henderson’s equity teams and served as the firm’s contact for the IASB’s Investors in Financial Reporting programme.
Mr Anderson was a member of the UK Accounting Standards Board from 2007 to 2013 and a founding member of the Corporate Reporting Users’ Forum (CRUF).
He has a degree in economics, University College, Durham, UK, and is an associate of the CFA Society of the UK.
Steve Cooper
Steve Cooper completed a 10-year term as a board member of the IASB in 2017. Prior to that he was a Managing Director in the equities division of UBS. Steve’s earlier career includes auditing and corporate finance. He qualified as an accountant in 1983.

Steve is now an independent analyst, writes The Footnotes Analyst blog, and provides consulting and education services for investors. He is also a member of the ICAEW financial reporting committee.
Seema Jamil-O'Neill
Seema Jamil-O'Neill is the Technical Director of the UK Endorsement Board (UKEB). Seema also represents the UKEB on the Government’s Policy Implementation Committee (PIC), which advises on the UK endorsement of ISSB Standards.

Seema Jamil-O'Neill is the Technical Director of the UK Endorsement Board (UKEB). Seema also represents the UKEB on the Government’s Policy Implementation Committee (PIC), which advises on the UK endorsement of ISSB Standards.
From 2017 until 2020, Seema worked as the Head of Accounting and Reporting Policy at the UK Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. In that role, she represented the UK at the European Commission’s Accounting Regulatory Committee, European Council working groups, the UN’s Accounting Expert Group and at numerous UN conferences.
Seema’s previous experience includes working as an accounting standard setter at the Financial Reporting Council (FRC), and at KPMG as an auditor of listed and investment banking clients.
Seema is a fellow of the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

After previously leading the segment responses to IFRS 9, IFRS 11 and IFRS 16 Matt is heading the bp group IFRS 18 implementation project. Stephen Morris is an experienced preparer of financial statements and is currently Group Financial Controller at Ultra Electronics, a leading global technology and services innovator in the Aerospace and Defence industry. Driven by a desire to promote clear and value-adding financial reporting he has served on a number of Committees, including the 100 Group Financial Reporting Committee, and is currently Vice-Chair of the IASB Global Preparers Forum. Renata is currently VP Global Financial Reporting at InterContinental Hotels Group PLC (IHG) where she has worked in various reporting roles for 16 years. She began her career at PwC, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant.
Renata leads the teams responsible for IHG’s consolidation and production of Group financial statements, compliance with SOx controls and audit, Treasury accounting and around 80 sets of subsidiary accounts globally. Renata’s remit also includes technical accounting and Group policy and she led the implementation of IFRS 9, 15, 16, and 17 for IHG in addition to reporting for M&A and other significant transactions.
Since 2022, Renata has also served as an Independent Member of the Audit and Risk Committee for English Heritage.
