Shaping the Future Accounting for Intangibles

The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) is hosting an event, on 11 November, for members to engage directly with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the UKEB on the scope, approach and issues to be prioritised on the IASB’s Accounting for Intangibles project. The UKEB has published three reports on intangibles reporting in the UK.  These reports are aimed at fostering debate on the need for comprehensive revisions to the accounting and reporting of intangibles. A video introduction to the research and the reports are available on our website.
